New Orleans children's singer and songwriter, Dennis Berner, is back! With his most ambitious endeavor in song writing and production, Dennis has just released his fourth album, “Dancin' and Dreamin' with Dennis.” The album consists of eight upbeat songs and seven lullaby songs for children of all ages. Sure fun for the whole family!

The media agree! With a feature article in The Times Picayune , a WWL-TV television appearance, an 870 AM Radio interview, a Parents' Choice Honors Award, Children's Music Web Award, and ASCAP Plus Award, and live performances in some of the top venues in New Orleans and in the Southeast, Dennis has paved his way to be the next children's troubadour!

Born and raised in New Orleans , Dennis is the proud father of three children, Emily, Kyle, and Julia , and husband to his wife, Connie . A full-time Certified Public Accountant, Dennis has been a children's performer for over 15 years , and has brightened the days of many children with his warm, lively, wholesome music. He is a Parents' Choice Honors Award, Children's Music Web Award, and ASCAP Plus Award recipient, and has been endorsed by several teachers, retail store owners, writers, and musical therapists.

“Dancin'and Dreamin”with Dennis” contains songs that will bring much joy to children. The first eight songs are motivational and upbeat, designed to get kids movin' and shakin' Songs such as “Knock Knock,” “Shake A Leg,” and “Hop, Hop, Hop,” are just a few of the lively “Dancin'” tracks. And in the neo-classic New Orleans and Me,” Dennis describes New Orleans ' attributes at its best. The last seven songs are perfect for napping. They include “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star,” and Dennis originals “Kissing Goodnight,” “Daytime, Nighttime,” and “I am Beside You.” Each song has its own charm, and it gives the listener a chance to dance a little, and dream a little.

In the album, Dennis provides the lead vocals, while local children provide the lively choruses. Two of the songs are accompanied by a children and adult chorus. The “Dancin'” side of the album will have children jumping out of their seats, while the “Dreamin'” side is ideal for naptime! Dennis plays most of the instruments, emphasizing acoustic guitar, and is joined by several studio musicians as well. The music was recorded and mixed at Sound Services Studio , and mastered at Engine 24 Studio .

Dennis is the “Raffi of the South,” and he wants to share his music with children everywhere!
